My Airmega's always detecting low levels of pollution (low PM or low VOCs)Updated 9 months ago

Possible reasons:

1. The air is clean. If the air is clean, the PM (Particulate Matter) reading is expected to be set to 0 (<1) or to show blue on the device.

2. The sensor module filter is clogged with dust. This may happen if the device has been running for a long time in a polluted environment.

Actions:

1. Test the sensor:

- Open the AQI sensor cap.

- Blow your breath strongly 2-3 times directly into the AQI sensor.

Please note:

"Making dust" by shaking a cloth or similar may often not trigger the PM sensor as the typical household environment is too large.

Expected result:

The AQI sensor color values are expected to change.

If the values are still indicated as low:

1. Try vacuuming the sensor and testing again.

Expected result:

After this action, you should see a change in AQI color values.

If the values are still low and stuck to Good, please contact our customer support team at [email protected].
