Airmega 50 or Airmega 100 stays on orange lightUpdated 2 months ago

If your Airmega 50 or Airmega 100 appears to remain on an orange light, this may be related to the Air Quality Indicator (AQI) display settings, rather than an issue with the air quality itself.

Check the AQI / Night Light settings

Please press the Night Light button on the control panel to cycle through the display modes.

The device alternates between the following settings:

  • AQI mode – Air quality indicator is displayed at full brightness

  • Night Light mode – Indicator light is dimmed for night-time use

  • All Off mode – Indicator lights are turned off

  • (Then returns to AQI mode)

👉 AQI mode → Night Light mode → All Off → AQI mode

Important to know

  • In default operation, the AQI indicator and buttons are shown at maximum brightness.

  • If the unit is set to Night Light mode, the indicator may appear constantly orange or dim, which can be mistaken for a persistent air quality warning.

  • Changing the display mode does not affect the air purification performance. Your air purifier will continue to clean the air as normal.

If the indicator remains orange after confirming the AQI mode, this may indicate moderate air quality in the room. Try ventilating the space briefly or relocating the unit away from direct airflow or dust sources.
