Here's how to place your machine for better performance, and to avoid some common mistakes.
Identify Airflow Pathways:
- Determine where the air will be flowing in and out of your purifier.
- Ensure that nothing blocks either air passage by keeping at least 15-30cm of space between the air inlet and any objects.
- Avoid placing anything on the fresh air outlet.
Choose the Room:
- Decide in which room you'd like to place your air purifier. Common choices are the living room or bedroom.
- Breathing fresh air while you sleep can be a life-changer, making the bedroom an excellent choice.
Optimal Placement:
- For maximised performance, we recommend placing the purifier as close to the centre of the room as possible.
- Ideal spots include between the living room and kitchen or in areas where contaminants are likely concentrated, such as a kitchen with a gas stove.
- However, avoid placing the purifier too close to the oven. Excessive mist or grease sucked into the filter can severely reduce its lifespan.
