Pre-Filter Maintenance | Airmega 300 / 400Updated 10 months ago
The pre-filter is designed to catch large particles like dust and hair. When it's time to wash the pre-filters, the "Wash" indicator will turn on. Follow these steps to clean the pre-filters:
Remove the Side Cover:
- If you haven't turned off the Airmega, it will turn off automatically when the side covers are removed.
- Remove the side cover to access the pre-filters.
Remove the Pre-Filter:
- Press the two tabs on the top of the pre-filter and pull it outward.
- Repeat on the other side.
Clean the Pre-Filter:
- Carefully vacuum off the particles or gently wash the pre-filter under water.
- If washing with water, ensure the pre-filter is thoroughly dried before reinstalling it.
Reassemble and Reset:
- Insert the clean and dry pre-filters back into the Airmega and close the side covers.
- Ensure both side covers are correctly installed. The Airmega will not turn back on if the covers are installed incorrectly.
- Turn on the Airmega and reset the pre-filter status indicator by holding it down for 3 seconds.
Now breathe deeper and enjoy your clean air.
