The Max2 Filter is designed to capture small airborne particles, harmful gases, and odours from pets, cooking, and cigarettes. When it's time to change the Max2 filters, the "Change" indicator will turn on. Follow these steps to replace the filters:
Remove the Side Cover:
- If you haven't turned off the Airmega, it will turn off automatically when the side covers are removed.
- Remove the side cover to access the filters.
Remove the Pre-Filter:
- Press the two tabs on the top of the pre-filter and pull it outward.
Remove the Max2 Filter:
- Pull on the tab to remove the Max2 filter.
- Repeat the process on the other side.
Insert New Max2 Filters:
- Remove the new Max2 filters from their packaging.
- Insert the new filter into the Airmega, ensuring the tab and black side face out towards you.
- Reinsert the pre-filter and close the side cover.
- Repeat on the other side.
Reassemble and Reset:
- Ensure both side covers are correctly installed. The Airmega will not turn back on if the covers are installed incorrectly.
- Turn on the Airmega and reset the Max2 filter status indicator by holding it down for 3 seconds.
- Safely discard your old Max2 filters and do not reuse them.
Now breathe deeper and enjoy your clean air.
