To ensure optimal performance and accurate reporting, Coway air purifiers should be run continuously. Running the unit only for a few hours at a time can reduce its efficiency and affect the accuracy of reports (for Wi-Fi enabled products). 

We strongly advise against using an extension cord to plug in your air purifier alongside other devices, as air purifiers require a significant amount of power. To prevent short circuits or power outages, please plug the air purifier directly into a separate outlet. 

Additionally, many of our air purifiers feature AUTO mode, which adjusts the fan speed based on the level of surrounding pollution. When the air quality is good, the unit will operate at a lower fan speed (speed 1) and enter a power-saving mode, running every 10 minutes to monitor for any potential pollution.
