Do Coway products emit ozone or ions?Updated a year ago

Currently, the only model that produces ions is Airmega Mighty. However, the Airmega Mighty AP-1512 is CARB certified in the U.S. To be certified, all air purifiers must undergo electrical safety testing. Electronic air purifiers must also undergo ozone emissions testing and meet the ozone emissions concentration limit of 0.050 ppb (50 parts per million). 

If you have concerns regarding ozone emissions, you can safely turn off the ionizer function while still benefiting from the purifier’s other features.
